I'm using Samsung Galaxy Gio, they are pretty much the same hardware wise. I also got frustrated with my phone getting slower and slower with every new official firmware. Eventually I got frustrated and rooted it, then installed Cyanogenmod unofficial firmware. The diffirence is huge! No freezes at all now. The phone has been reborn to me.

It was a pain in the butt to understand how to get things started, but it is not as tough as it looks like. You basically need to find the firmware you need, then put it onto SD card, after that reboot int recovery mode and there you can install the needed firmware for rooting or replacing the firmware. It looks like a boot menu on Windows install CD, if you ever reinstalled WIndows you will find out what to do faster. You'll find instructions at the same places where the firmware files are. XDA site is the place where you should start looking.

It's difficult to understand at first, get ready for it.

Quote from Frunze118 :I think it's usual arcade. No hardcore elements.

Никто и не позиционирует её как симулятор. Симуляторы, как и ЛФС продукт для малой категории людей. Элементы реализма есть, но настолько чтоб сохранять играбельность

It was never presented as a tank sim. Sims, like LFS, are made for a small amount of people. There are elements of realism in WoT, but to a point of staying playable. Pretty good game.

On russian servers on most maps in the assult mode defenders are usually ATTACKING Weird tactic, but works quite often.

Quote from Bean0 :Russian server always get it first.

Still no news of when it will appear on EU.

Test patch should be working till 1st of August, and as it is common to all servers, US and EU servers should get the update after the end of Test patch, so I guess you'll get it soon.

Atleast you guys still have time to get unlocked French MT branch for less experience points

P.S.: EU server will also have KV-5 removed from sale after update? Or is it just for RU server?

Quote from Joku123 :I heard that T62A is too slow compared to other mediums and Patton is OP. I haven't tested neither of those so can't really tell. And yea, test is only test, anything can still change..

I did few battles with new BatChat and I liked it. It probably isn't as overpowered as before but it's still good. I believe it's kinda same situation for every tank in French medium tree.

I tested T62A personally, it has slightly less fast acceleration due to weaker engine compared to T54, BUT(!) it's maneuverability is crazy, it rotates with it's body faster than T50-2 trying to circle T62A, that's just the body, not mentioning the turret!

Regarding french tanks, I'm seriously thinking of selling Lorreine right after patch, Soviet meds are way funnier to drive without constant fears of getting full damage from some Gw-Panter a second after you stopped to make a shot. French never allowed you to make mistakes, battles are always nervous and hard thinking. But after they were just moved up 1 tier with balancing down some charecteristics, it now looks like hard working to play them instead of having fun from a game

Quote from Joku123 :I most likely won't even buy T-44 but just research it and then continue grinding USA heavy tree and french artys. I've heard that T-62A(new soviet tier 10 medium) isn't as good as new Patton III/BatChat.

Patton III and T62A are the best at the moment (test1, what would be on test 2 nobody knows) and are pretty equal.

French medium tanks branch is really messed up now. Lorraine and BatChat. have their manouverability decreased quite noticable. 13-75, 13-90 are just moved up on 1 tier without any changes except minor HP increase.

Heavy tanks tier 10 would be dinosaurs if tier 10 MT and AT won't be balanced down. The only HT10 that is more or less playable is the T110E5, other are in big trouble, especially german.

Quote from Bean0 :Joku, be aware that you cannot fit the D10T on the T44 without the turret, and you can't fit the turret without first getting the tracks. Grinding 30k or so for those with the 85mm is pure hell.

I wouldn't call it hell, to be honest. The long 85mm gun is pretty playable in stock condition. 44 was one of the most comfortable stock tanks for me so far (along with SU152).

Quote from Jakg :Well, after Autoglasses initial £615 megaquote, i've now got it down to £223.25 with Auto Windscreens, booked up for the week after next... Now if only I knew why it just spontaneously broke

A small stone flying off the tyre of the car driving by? Happens quite often here. Although small stone might not be enough, I once saw a small truck with double rear tyres which had a half of a brick(!) stuck inbetween. It was making quite a loud noise with every revolution of the tyre when it was hitting the road. Was scary as hell driving behind it

I also came to the car to see a small crack some time ago. But its tiny, doesn't grow, so I don't bother...

I think what Thomson(FIN) was trying to tell is that getting a car lower is not "the most optimal" way of tuning if you have 15cm+ layer of snow on roads most time of the year

(Not every singe road is being cleaned regulary, and dealing with a slippery road with a thin layer of snow is one thing, and getting out of the private sector where roads aren't cleaned is completly different)

Just to add: My car is RAISED from the factory position (bought it in that state already) and I like that. I climb up on borders no problem and getting offroad isn't a problem. Each to their own I guess

Quote from e2mustang :... other than that it takes you wherever you need to go.

+1

After all, a car is meant to take you from place A to place B. Hell, even my thing is fast...compared to the bus I was using for transport before I feel fine in the city with every horsepower that haven't escaped the body of this 23 year old beauty which is somewhere from 55 to 65 hp ( and I drive my dad's 175hp Celica randomly, so I have something to compare)

[RF]-art555 - are they a recent photos? Is that the typical sort of age of cars you have over there?

Nah, thats just random cars. Although there are quite a lot of cars like that in here (even older, GAZ 21 for example) there quite a lot of very fresh cars in here. I see brand new models of cars not that later from it's presentetions at some auto show

The LADA 2109 you see on the last pic is still in production by the way...

Quote from brandons48 :That last one is insane! What the hell are the roads built on?

I think I'd better not know that...

This spring there were about two weeks of weather with temperature jumps from -5 to +5 C which literally tore apart roads. Taking into account that roads themselves are made of crap and small part of asphalt, the situation with roads is a disaster in here.

Split tire is a luck if you are catching a pothole in here. Cracked rim, or bent suspension is not something unusual in here.

I'll be changing most of the suspension parts as soon as the roads will be patched up a bit.

Quote from danowat :Why is that?

Might not relate to countries with petrol of good quality, but I always try to have more than a half of the tank because:

- Having low fuel level will increase the load on a fuel pump
- Fuel in here is quite dirty, and all the additional crap that gets into tank, all these impurities are laying on the bottom of tank. The less fuel you have, the more of that crap is getting into fuel filters.

- my own reason: fuel tank on my car is flat and fuel is waving all around it and at low level the lamp of the fuel gauge is blinking, kinda annoying

I've read through this thread a bit in a search of G25 settings, but the ones I've found were no good. Can somebody suggest drivable settings?

Currently, the problem I'm having is the wheel being delayed, its too numb while cornering at big rotationangles, and too twitchy if the rotation is set any lower. I have the settings in the game just as audimasta....
Quote from audimasta :Here you go. Profiler language is in Norwegian, but i guess the layout is the same anyways...

Enjoy

Quote from J@tko :Does he mean you would lurch forward because you're slowing down more? Or is he completely wrong?

Maybe he is surprised by the fact that car lurches forward under braking when you additionally shift down, which shouldn't really happen unless you have a messed up shocks or dumping the clutch when doing so I guess
